Suki

Description

Suki and her brother joined our family nearly 2 years ago from a breeder in Kent. She is half rag doll and half Persian so is very docile and loves affection. Being a very long haired cat requires lots of time and attention and we have a 11 month old, older 10 year old and an older cat too so we just don’t have the time to brush her daily and give her the deserved affection she so needs. Vets bills for 3 cats has also been expensive but should be less now with her needing the yearly vaccinations, flea treatment and occasional de-matting at the vets. If you stay on top of the mats then this won’t be an added cost.

She is very gentle and exceptionally good with children and other cats. By nature she is a friendly and would love to be a lap cat. She often follows us around the house and will likely be near us. We do have lots of scratch posts so I’d suggest this too or she will scratch furniture, as lots of cats do. She is an outdoor cat and happily comes in and out via the cat flap. She can also use a litter tray if you preferred her to be kept inside (she mostly stays indoors anyway).

She doesn’t really have any fears, this goes with the breed.

She can only eat Purina sensitive cat biscuits which we can buy most places. If she has any other foods she may get a bad stomach..plain chicken may be okay. Again, the breeds do have sensitive stomachs so we definitely do not give her treats anymore.

Overall Suki is a beautiful loving cat but she does require lots of attention with her long coat and need for affection. We will be sad to rehome her and have thought hard about this decision but 3 cats and a baby and 10 year old is too much for me right now.
