Hi, I am Otis. I love playing and getting along with humans. I am a good athlete who can jump 3-4 feet for chasing the cat strip which is my favorite toy. I also love laser pens, and anything with catnip! I love to accompany humans, sitting next to you when you are working or studying, watching TV with you. I am a good listener to share your happiness and sorrows. I enjoy food and almost eat anything, but never overeat.

PetRehomer says: Otis is a brave two-year old young boy who is striving to live a happy & wonderful life despite his illness. He is Egyptian Mau carrying Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV). It has not (and may never) manifested any symptoms, just like other healthy cat but he needs to remain indoors for his own health. To protect him and other cat from infection, he must be the only cat at home. No medication is subscribed while vaccination once a year is needed. He’s chipped, neutered, vaccinated and litter trained. He likes to get up high and observe daily life. He’s lively and playful, loves to be around you. He’s an intelligent and affectionate cat.

Unfortunately, the owner is working in shift pattern (Patterns change every four days). He cannot give Otis a regular routine care. On the other hand, Otis does not live a routine life as well. His shift pattern doesn’t mesh very well with his personality. Owner believes Otis would thrive if he was living with someone who worked in regular pattern or work from home. Give Otis a new home! He would be your best family member!
